his quick-maturing loose-leaf variety produces light green, frilly leaves that are sweet and tender. Flavor is best if timed to mature during cool weather. Resistant to heat and Tip burn.

PLANTING
Direct seed as soon as soil can be worked in spring. Repeat at two week intervals until late spring. Sow again in late summer and fall.

CARE
Water regularly and fertilize when 3 inches tall. Provide light shade for spring and summer sowing. When 4 inches high, thin 6-8 inches apart.

HARVEST
Pull entire plant or for cut-and-come again, cut individual leaves 1-2 inches above the soil line.
