Lupine produces spectacular flowred spikes in a wide range of separate colors and bicolors. Plants are mounded and covered with deeply cut attractive foliage. Use in mass plantings or in the mid to back portion of mixed beds. Excellent cut flowers. Deer resistant.

PLANT:
For strong plants with lots of bloom, either start seed indoors 8-10 weeks before last frost, or sow outdoors in laate summer/fall and provide winter protection. Before sowing, soak seeds overnight in warm water.

CARE
does best in cool weather and with some afternoon shade. Plant must develop a deep tap root before blooming.
