Shipping and Delivery
At Earl May Seed & Nursery, we try our hardest to deliver your purchase in the quickest and the most eco-friendly way possible. The exact shipping and delivery charges will be given to you upon checkout. Standard UPS/USPS delivery rates are automatically calculated during checkout. You will always receive our lowest rates based on size and weight with our delivery times between 5 and 7 business days.
Rush Delivery Shipping Charges
UPS 3 Day Select, UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS Overnight delivery rates will be adjusted based on size and weight.
USPS First Class and Priority Express delivery rates will be adjusted based on size and weight.
Standard Shipping Delivery Details
- UPS Ground, 5‒7 business days (Mon‒Fri)
- UPS 3 Day Select, orders placed by noon CT will be delivered in 3 business days
- UPS 2nd Day Air, orders placed by noon CT will be delivered in 2 business days
- UPS Overnight, orders placed by noon CT will be delivered the following day
- USPS Priority Mail, 3-5 business days (Mon-Fri)
- USPS Priority Express Mail, orders placed by noon CT will be delivered the following day
- USPS First Class Mail, orders places by noon CT will be delivered 1-3 business days
Returning Online Purchases
After making an online purchase, you will always have to right to return the merchandise within the U.S. You have the option to receive a credit to the credit card used to purchase the merchandise or to exchange the merchandise.
All online purchases must be returned within the time frame below. Our return policy begins on the date you purchase the merchandise.
- 30 days for all hard goods (i.e., non-plant goods) and regular merchandise.
- All plants and trees can be returned within the time frame specified by the warranty that you received at checkout. For any questions regarding your warranty, please call our toll-free number at 800-843-9608 or contact your local Earl May Seed & Nursery Garden Center.
Returning in Store
You can avoid shipping charges and receive your refund much faster by returning any products purchased online at any Earl May Garden Center within the U.S.
- Please return all packing material, manuals and accessories to avoid any additional charges.
- You must have the packing list or receipt and a valid photo ID. Earl May will accept any of the following forms of photo ID:
- U.S. driver’s license.
- U.S. state ID
- Canadian province ID
- U.S. military ID
Returning via UPS or USPS
When returning by UPS/USPS, please follow these steps:
- Return your merchandise in its original packaging.
- Email mailto:email@example.com or call 800-843-9608.
- Return all packing materials, manuals and accessories to avoid additional charges.
- UPS/USPS will arrive at your location with a Return Shipping Label and take your package.
Earl May may deny a return or make a partial credit for any returns wherein the above criteria are not met.
