Important Update About Your Garden Center:
We have shared with our team that, after careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to permanently close our Shawnee Earl May Garden Center. Our final day of business will be December 7, 2026. This was not a decision we made lightly. As operating costs have continued to rise and market conditions have changed, we must make thoughtful business decisions that position Earl May to remain strong for the future while continuing to serve our customers for generations to come.

History: I started with Earl May Garden Centers at the Shawnee garden center when I was 16. I worked in Lawrence for 8 years and then came back to Shawnee.
