Cassandra Hauser

History: I started in our South Des Moines location in May of 2023 as a part-time retail associate and ended up falling in love with the job! In August 2023, I moved down to Ottumwa to start manager my own store.

Favorite Place to Visit: I love checking out new trails and stopping into all the different coffee shops in town.

Favorite Houseplant: Stromanthe Triostar or any kind of Alocasia

Favorite Tree or Shrub: Magnolias!

Top 3 Perennials: Peonies, Garden Phlox, & Anemone

Why Work at Earl May?
"I love getting to play in the dirt and work with plants every day. I feel so blessed to be working in a job that lets me be out in the sun and share my love of nature with our guests by helping them find the perfect plant for them. It brings me so much joy to help others make something beautiful in their yard that they can enjoy and be proud of."

Pets: I have two cats. The older one is a tortoiseshell girl named Jovie. The second is an orange and white tabby boy named Olive that showed up at my door a few weeks after moving to Ottumwa.
