An Important Update About Your Garden Center
We have shared with our team that, after careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to permanently close our Marshalltown Earl May Garden Center. Our final day of business will be October 12, 2026. This was not a decision we made lightly. As operating costs have continued to rise and market conditions have changed, we must make thoughtful business decisions that position Earl May to remain strong for the future while continuing to serve our customers for generations to come.

Tony Pherigo
History: I started with Earl May in 2013 and worked through 2018 at the Marshalltown, Newton and Ames garden centers. I came back in September 2023 and became manager in fall of 2024.
