An Important Update About Your Garden Center
We have shared with our team that, after careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to permanently close our Newton Earl May Garden Center. Our final day of business will be October 5, 2026. This was not a decision we made lightly. As operating costs have continued to rise and market conditions have changed, we must make thoughtful business decisions that position Earl May to remain strong for the future while continuing to serve our customers for generations to come.

Meet the Manager
Alexa Hoskins
History: I began my Earl May career in 2021 as a part-time sales associate and was promoted to associate manager in 2024. I took over as manager in August of 2025.
Favorite Place to Visit: I enjoy spending time at Rock Creed State Park when the weather is nice. I enjoy hiking the trails and paddle boarding on the lake.
Favorite Houseplant: Begonia Rex - Not only are they super colorful but also have a shimmer to their leaves that I love.
Favorite Tree: I really like the Sunset Valley Maples. Their fall color is what really draws me to them having that awesome red and orange foliage.
