Annual. Giant, crinkled, highly aromatic leaves on bushy, bigorous plants. Slightly serrated lettuce-like leaves grow to 4 inches long. Flavor similar to Sweet Basil. Slow to bolt. Plant height 18-24 inches.

PLANTING
Direct seed in early spring after all danger of frost is past. For early harvest, start seed indoors 6-8 weeks before planting outdoors.

Harvest leaves continuously to encourage new growth. Pinch back plants to discourage flowering. Leaves can be used fresh or dried.
