• Best planted in a good, well-drained soil

• Choose from a selection of green, blue, gold, and tints of red
• Some are even striped or banded
• Many varieties add color in the fall by turning muted shades of gold or russet
• Grasses add depth and year-round interest in the garden and landscape

• Grasses are graceful all spring and summer, yet strong in the winter
• Recommend leaving all winter long and let the snow and frost collect for a striking appearance
• The old stems should be cut back in the spring to allow room for the new growth
• Grasses also help provide safe harbor to many wild birds

Did you know? The feathery seed heads dry beautifully for indoor arrangements. Simply cut the stalks before the seed ripens and hang them upside down in a dark, dry place.
