Perennial. Durable, easy to grow herb used as a treat for cats. The aroma of the leaves, fresh or dried, makes cats kittenish and playful. Gray-green leaves with pale pink or white flower spikes. Height 24-30 inches.

PLANTING
For strong plants, start seed indoors 8-10 weeks before last frost, or sow outdoors in early fall and provide winter protection.

CARE
Thin plants 12-15 inches apart. Water regularly and fertilize when 6 inches tall. To increase leaf production, pinch out devloping flower buds.

HARVEST
Cut shoot tips with a few stems. To dry, hang stems in a dry, dark, well-ventilated area.
