HOT! The famous Mexican pepper. Fruits are one inch across and two to three inches long; dark green, turning red when ripe. Relative Scoville Rating: 4,000 - 6,000 units.

PLANTING
Sow seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost. Grow in full sun and keep soil temperature in teh mid 70's. Transplant to garden 18-24 inches apart 2-3 weeks after the last frost.
CARE
Water regularly and fertilize when plants are 6 inches and again in mid-summer.
HARVEST
Carefully cut or snap off fruits along with a short piece of stalk. Full size hot peppers can be picked at any color, but are spiciest when red.
