Squash Early Prolific Straightneck
Heirloom. Bush-type plants produce an abundance of creamy, yelllow-skinned fruits. Perfect of slicing. Semi-open growth habit. Best harvested when fruits are 8 inches long.

PLANTING
Direct seed as soon as the ground becomes warm and all danger of frost is past. Plant 6-8 seed in hills, 4-6 feet apart each way.
CARE
Water heavily and requently. Feed every 3-4 weeks. When plants are 2 inches high, thin out each hill to 3 of the most vigorous plants.
HARVEST
Allow fruit to remain on vine until mature. Pick before frost, leaving part of stem attached. Store in a warm, dry place.
